Week 2 of the PML season kicked off on Sunday evening and if your a fan of defense, this was not the slate of games for you as we saw 3 teams top the half century mark in the Bengals, Bills and Lions all which resulted in victories. There are some teams who continue to struggle to find their way on offense in the Raiders, Rams and Steelers as they all dropped to 0-2 on the young season. The Browns, Chargers, Colts, Giants, Patriots, Texans,and Vikings all continued there early season success and improved to 2-0 on the year. With only 1 game remaining on the schedule with the Chicago Bears visiting the San Francisco 49ers, let’s take a look the games that are in the books and who has impressed in the 2nd week of the PML season (let’s call them studs) as well as guys who didn’t impress as much (let’s call them duds).
Week 2 Studs QB
Josh Allen QB Buffalo Bills

The reigning Super Bowl champions were able to get back on track and even up there record at 1-1 in Week 2 following an emotional overtime loss to there division rival the New England Patriots. The 2022 PML MVP Allen was spectacular throwing for 7 TD passes in the first half as the Bills routed the visiting Kansas City Chiefs 72-9 .
2. DJ Uiagalelei QB Detroit Lions

The #1 pick of the PML 2023 draft continues to turns heads as he threw for over 400 yards and 6 scores, bringing his TD total to a league leading 10 on the season as the Lions took care of business at home over the Carolina Panthers 52-14 to improve to 2-0 on the young season.
3. Dwayne Haskins QB WFT
31-38 529 Yards 5 TD 0 Int
Haskins continued his dominance of the NFC West as he carved up the Seattle Seahawks secondary to a tune of 500 plus yards and 5 scores as the WFT picked up the 48-38 victory at home bringing there record to 2-0 on the campaign.

Derek Carr QB Las Vegas Raiders

Carr and the Raiders offensive woes continued once again as they were shut out for the second straight week as they fell on the road to division rival the Los Angeles Chargers 36-0. Carr threw 6 Interceptions bringing his total on the season to a league leading 12.
2. Deshaun Watson QB Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers new franchise quarterback Watson continued his early season struggles as the offense failed to get going for the 2nd straight week as they fell on the road to last seasons AFC north champion Baltimore Ravens 49-7.
3. Patrick Mahomes QB Kansas City Chiefs

Mahomes and the Chiefs had the daunting task of playing the Super Bowl Champion Buffalo Bills in Orchard Park in Week 2 following a loss. It was a week to forget for the superstar Mahomes as he threw 5 interceptions as the Chiefs were pummeled 72-9 and fell to 0-2 on the year.

The Giants offense looked more like themselves in week 2, as they were able to eclipse the 40pt mark and the superstar Barkley was a big part of that as he rushed for over 290 yards and added 4 scores as they improved to 2-0 with the division victory over Jerry’s Dallas Cowboys at Met Life Stadium.
2. Breece Hall RB Miami Dolphins

After being stymied in the week 1 loss for the Dolphins, Hall responded in a big way as he racked up 243 yards on the ground with 3 scores as they bounced back with a convincing 55-27 victory at home over the Denver Broncos.
As Hawkins goes, so does the Texans offense as he rushed for 134 yards and 3 scores and they notched there 2nd win on the season a 35-21 home victory over the Atlanta Falcons.
4. Miles Sanders RB Philadelphia Eagles

After a tough week 1, in which Sanders only rushed for 37 yards, he responded in big time fashion in week 2 exploding for 269 yards on the ground and a score as the Eagles evened up there record at 1-1 with the road win over the Arizona Cardinals.

Deandre Swift RB Las Vegas Raiders
8 Carries 25 Yards Rushing
Swift the lead back in the Raiders backfield struggled for the second straight week to find any room to maneuver as he was bottled up to 25 yards as they fell 36-0 to the Los Angeles Chargers.
2. JK Dobbins RB Baltimore Ravens
6 Carries 10 Yards Rushing
3 Receptions 30 Yards
The explosive Dobbins was unable to get going on the ground but it wasn’t needed in week 2 as the Ravens routed division foe Pittsburgh Steelers 49-7 at home to even there record at 1-1 on the season. Dobbins will try and get back on track in Week 3 in a divisional showdown on the road vs the upstart Cincinnati Bengals.
3. Nick Chubb RB Cleveland Browns
13 Carries 19 Yards Rushing 1 TD
Chubb and the Browns continued there winning ways in week 2 with a 24-20 home win over the Los Angeles Rams. Even though Chubb was able to find the end zone, it was tough sledding for him as he rushed the ball 13 times for 19 yards. Look for him to get back on track in week 3 vs the Tennessee Titans who are in the bottom 3rd against the run thus far.
