Week 15 Power Ranking Report

Updated Power Ranking report with list of remaining opponents.

1. Los Angeles Chargers 13-0.  Seahawks, Texans. @Rams

The Chargers continued its defensive dominance in week 14 forcing 8 interceptions and tallied 5 sacks en route to a 36-22 home win over the Arizona Cardinals. The quest for perfection is still in tact for Hype Mike in his farewell tour.

2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 13-0.  @Panthers, Ravens, @Saints

Sam Howell continued his Rookie of the Year campaign tour tossing 3 scores to Oj Howard, and the defense continued there stellar play forcing 5 turnovers in the 41-7 home win over the Atlanta Falcons. The road to perfection gets a little tougher for Dlloyd down the stretch with matchups with the Ravens and Saints looming.

3. New England Patriots 11-2.  Dolphins, Bills, @Packers

The Patriots continued to stay hot as Jordan Howard and Phillip Lindsay combined for 3 scores on the ground picking up a 37-10 road win over the New York Jets. This was the 6 straight win for the Natural, who has some tough divisional matchups coming up with the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills both paying a visit to Foxboro in games that will ultimately decide the AFC crown.

4. Baltimore Ravens 10-3.  Browns, @Buccaneers, @Falcons

Baltimore bounced back in week 14 following their road loss in week 13 with a 45-7 drubbing of the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road. Lamar Jackson threw for 336 yards and 3 scores and the defense forced 8 turnovers, 3 of which were interceptions from Marlon Humphrey for the AFC North champs.

5. Buffalo Bills 10-3.  Bengals, @Patriots, Chiefs

Josh Allen continued to solidify his numbers as a MVP front runner throwing for 440 yards and 5 scores as the Bills stymied the Cleveland Browns in the dog pound. The Bills get a tune up in Week 15 with the Cincinatti Bengals prior to the heavy weight contest @ New England Patriots in week 16 which will in all likely hood decide the AFC East champion.

6. Minnesota Vikings 10-3.  Packers, @Bears, @Eagles

The Vikings were victorious in week 14 with a 27-16 road win over the Seattle Seahawks as Jamie Newman threw for 190 yards and 2 scores. On the defensive ball Danielle Hunter was a one man wrecking crew as he accounted for 3 sacks and 2 forced fumbles for the NFC North Champs. Already have clinched the division the Vikings will look to hold on to the #2 seed in the conference and stay healthy in the remaining contests.

7. Philadelphia Eagles 9-4.  WFT, Jaguars, Vikings

The Eagles suffered a set back in week 14 with a 31-24 road loss to the Green Bay Packers.  Carson Wentz threw for 429 yards but turned the ball over 7 times. Wentz and the Eagles will have to get back on track quickly if they want to remain the top dog in the NFC East as the WFT pays a visit to Lincoln Financial Field in a crucial division show down.

8. New York Giants 9-4.  Cowboys, @Packers, @Cowboys

Daniel Jones threw for a score and ran for another as the Giants knocked off the WFT 30-21 on the road. Lano Hill led the Giants defense with which forced 5 turnovers on the day by accounting for 2 interceptions. The Giants and Eagles are tied in the loss column with the Eagles holding the head to head tie breaker.

9. Arizona Cardinals 8-5.  @49ers, @Cowboys, Lions

The Cardinals fell to the undefeated Chargers 36-22 on the road in week 14. The turnover bug hit the Kyler Murray as he threw for 6 interceptions on the day. Haason Reddick was a bright spot in the loss as he had 2 interceptions. A big week 15 matchup on the road against the 49ers is a must win if they hope to be the champs of the NFC West.

10. Washington Football 7-6.  @Eagles, @Titans, Seahawks

The WFT hopes of an NFC East title took a huge blow as they fell to the New York Giants 30-21 at home. The loss was a huge setback as they have fell to 2 games back for the division lead. Dwayne Haskins threw for 328 yards and 3 scores but he also threw for 3 interceptions which proved to be costly. Troy Apke paced the defense with 2 interceptions in the loss.

11. Miami Dolphins 7-6.  @Patriots, @Jets, Broncos

Breece Hall continued to impress in his rookie campaign as he ran for 119 yards and 3 scores as the Dolphins knocked off the Chicago Bears 24-17 on the road.  Miami defense was very disruptive as they tallied 4 sacks and 2 interceptions on the day. The Dolphins will look to continue there playoff push vs the New England Patriots in week 15 who they knocked off earlier in the season.

12. Indianapolis Colts 7-6.  Jets, Raiders, Jaguars

The Colts exploded for 58pts in a week 14 rout of the Kansas City Chiefs 58-28. Jonathon Taylor ran for 106 yards and 3 scores, and Jameis Winston added 2 in the air for the Colts. The defense was stellar as it forced 6 interceptions, all of which were by different players. The Colts will look to stay atop the AFC South with 3 home contests vs losing teams to close out the season.

13. New Orleans Saints 7-6.  @Rams, Browns, Buccaneers

Trey Lance was almost perfect completing 20-22 for 241 yards and 3 scores as the Saints were able to get a huge road win over division rival Carolina Panthers 24-17. The fans on bourbon street are hoping the Saints can continue to strengthen their playoff chances next week with another road win as they head out west to face the woeful Los Angeles Rams.

14. Denver Broncos 7-6   @Raiders, @Chiefs, @Dolphins

The Broncos offense erupted for 51pts as they picked up the home win over the visiting Cincinnati Bengals 51-34. Devin Singletary rushed for 134 yards and 2 scores and Jerry Jeudy added 2 scores threw the air in the rout. Rookie Owen Pappoe had 3 sacks bringing his season total to 11, as the Broncos continue to hold onto the final AFC wild card spot.

15. Houston Texans 7-6.  Jaguars, @Chargers, Titans

Deshaun Watson threw for 379 yards and 3 scores as the Texans knocked off the Las Vegas Raiders at home 35-21 to keep pace in the AFC South. The Houston defense was terrific forcing 4 interceptions and getting 4 sacks on the day, 2 from JJ Watt.

16. Seattle Seahawks 7-6.  @Chargers, Falcons, @WFT

The Seahawks dropped a 27-16 decision at home to the Minnesota Vikings. Rashaad Penny was spectacular accounting for over 325 all purpose yards and 2 scores but it wasn’t enough. Seattle faces an up hill road going forward falling a game behind in the loss column and will need to turn it around fast if they are hoping to win the NFC West.

17. Jacksonville Jaguars 6-7   @Texans, @Eagles, @Colts

The Jaguars were able to keep their playoff hopes alive in convincing fashion as they upended the Tennesee Titans 37-21.  Trevor Lawrence threw for 2 scores and Travis Etienne added 1 on the ground. The defense was spectacular forcing Aaron Rodgers to throw 5 interceptions on the day.

18. Tennessee Titans 6-7.  @Chiefs, WFT, @Texans

The Titans playoff hopes took a huge blow as they suffered a 37-21 road loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jadeveon Clowney was the lone bright spot in defeat registering 2 sacks, giving him 6 on the season.

19. Carolina Panthers 6-7.  Buccaneers, @Lions, Steelers

Carolina playoff hopes suffered a huge blow in a 24-17 home loss at the hands of the New Orleans Saints. Christian McCaffrey had 2 scores, 1 in the air and 1 on the ground but it wasn’t enough in defeat.  Zane Zandier led the defense with 2 sacks.

20. Atlanta Falcons 6-7   @Steelers, @Seahawks, Ravens

Atlanta was steamrolled in week 14 at the hands of the undefeated Tampa Bay Buccaneers 41-7. The loss was a major setback for the Falcons and their hopes of playing in the post season. Calvin Ridley had 88 yards and 1 score in defeat. The defense was paced by Jonathon Allen who had 2 sacks on the day.

21. San Francisco 49ers 5-8   Cardinals, @Rams, Bears

The 49ers led by Ty Chandler who accounted for 147 yards and a score on the ground, steamrolled past the Los Angeles Rams 40-17.Nick Bosa was spectacular on defense posting 3 sacks and adding a forced fumble as the 49ers continued to hold on to their slim playoff chances with a victory.

22. Detroit Lions 5-8.  @Bears, Panthers, @Cardinals

The Lions led by Drew Locks 428 yards and 3 scores all of which went to Kenny Golladay who had 270 yards on the day, we’re able to hold on and edge the Dallas Cowboys 27-24 at Ford Field. Tracy Walker led the defense with 2 interceptions.

23. Dallas Cowboys 5-8.  @Giants, Cardinals, Giants

The Cowboys Ezekiel Elliot rushed for 233 yards and 2 scores but it was enough in the road loss to the Detroit Lions 27-24. The Cowboys defense was able to generate 4 sacks and 2 interceptions in defeat.

24. Pittsburgh Steelers 4-9.  Falcons, @Bengals, @Panthers

Pittsburgh was mauled in week 14 at the hands of division leading Baltimore Ravens 45-7 at Heinz Field. Cj Verdell was a lone bright spot rushing for 118 yards and a score in defeat.

25. New York Jets 4-9.  @Colts, Dolphins, Raiders

The Jets suffered a 37-10 home loss at the hands of the New England Patriots. Leveon Bell rushed for 116 yards and 1 TD.  Rookie Nolan Smith notched 2 sacks on the day for the defense.

26. Green Bay Packers 4-9.  @Vikings, Giants, Patriots

The Packers were winners in week 14, knocking off NFC East division leading Philadelphia Eagles at Lambeau Field 31-24. Jordan Love threw for 220 yards and 2 scores and the defense forced 7 Carson Wentz interceptions to pull off the upset.

27. Cleveland Browns 4-9.  @Ravens, @Saints, Bengals

The Browns were carved up by the Buffalo Bills 45-8 at the dog pound in week 14. Scotty Miller led the offense with 136 yards receiving and 1 score. Grant Delpit paced the defense with an interception and a sack.

28. Las Vegas Raiders 3-10.  Broncos, @Colts, @Jets

Derek Carr threw for 250 yards and 2 scores but it wasn’t enough as the Raiders fell on the road to the Houston Texans 35-21.  Cory Littleton led the defense with a sack and an interception in defeat.

29. Kansas City Chiefs 3-10.  Titans, Broncos, @Bills

Kansas City suffered its 4th straight defeat a 58-28 road loss at the hands of the Indianapolis Colts. Tyreke Hill led the Chiefs in defeat with 240 yards receiving and 2 scores.

30. Chicago Bears 3-10.  Lions, Vikings, @49ers

Zach Wilson threw for 280 yards and a score but it wasn’t enough as the Bears fell at home to the Miami Dolphins 24-17.

31.   Cincinnati Bengals 2-11.  @Bills, Steelers, @Browns

The Bengals fell to the Denver Broncos on the road 51-34. John Ross led the offense with 162 yards receiving and 2 scores. Germaine Pratt paced the defense with 2 sacks and a forced fumble in defeat.

32. Los Angeles Rams 1-12.  Saints, 49ers, Chargers

The Rams continued their putrid season with a road loss to the San Francisco 49ers 40-17. Tutu Atwell was a lone bright spot with 7 receptions for 89 yards and a score in defeat.
