Week 1 Bold Prediction; (r)Dean III shines for the Giants, Lions give warm welcome to new Packers coach and more!
Welcome back to another season of PML football. Clean slates for all. Lets get into it!
Week 1 Bold Predictions.
*Disclaimer: These are BOLD predictions. Don’t @mention me telling me how wrong I was, or how I don’t know what I’m talking about. The sole purpose of this is FUN. If you want real predictions, be sure to tune into The Naturals weekly episodic series, where he provided true predictions on a more realistic account.
Trey Dean III records (2) interceptions in his NFL debut, Giants route the Rams
The rookie out of Florida had a very impressive combine, leading to a first round selection (17) by Que and the New York Football Giants. The rookie will shine in his NFL debut as the Giants host the Los Angeles Rams at MetLife Stadium. Expected to see slot duty in his debut, the Rams will fall behind early and force the ball into coverage, more than likely targeting the speedy TuTu Atwell. Que will be looking to make the big plays with the rookie, especially with the game out of hand. Don’t be surprised if the rookie comes away with two interceptions and quite possibly even a score in front of the home crowd. The Giants win this one 45-17 and look ahead to the Jaguars in week 2.
Rookies lead the way for Jets in week 1 upset over Vikings
The New York Jets had the splashiest draft in PML this off season. Although it isn’t a finished picture, they drafted well and set themselves up for future success. They were very cautious during free agency, electing to save their salary cap for next season while only shelling out 1 year deals to veterans after free agency ended. QB Nolan Smith (1.3), LB Devin Lloyd (1.19), QB Jayden Daniels (2.3), and RB Jermar Jefferson (3.3) make up the young Jets who look to make a splash in coach El Jefe’s first week 1 appearance. Although the roster isn’t quite ready, look for the new coach to showcase the speed and user skills he will need to rely on all season long and give the Jets their opening week win in Minnesota. @Mention me when it goes final!
Lions score 60 as he welcomes new Packers coach to the division & PML
Packers sat idle this off season as the salary cap restricted them from being players in the free-agent market. Having played in only 1 pre-season game, it will be hard to believe the new coach will be ready for full-speed PML action. He more than likely is not too familiar with his roster, has not watched game tape, and knows little to nothing about his week 1 opponent. You put that in a pot and stir it, I call it a recipe for disaster. Look for this one to get out of hand early on. Lions will score 60 here and not look back. Garbage time should lead to big rookie games from John Emery at tailback and wide receiver Tyquan Thornton. Expect over 100 yards and a score for both of them as they welcome the new Packers coach to the league.
