Today we take a look at how the current MVP race is starting to shake up. This list can and will more a bit over the last few weeks of the season. Last years Jonathan Taylor was behind Austin Ekeler and Derrick Henry for most of the year before running away with the hardware in weeks 16 and 17. With that being said let’s jump right in.
Javian Hawkins: Leads the way in the Mvp race with 216 rush attempts for 1286 yards with a 6 yards per attempt average and 23 touchdowns. He has also added 47 catches for 521 yards putting him close to the 2000 yards from scrimmage mark.
Lamar Jackson: Lamar has been efficient to the tune of a 69.2% completion percentage with 2587 passing yards yards and 27 touchdowns through the air. Always a threat with his feat and has added 60 rush attempts for 603 yards and 9 more tds.
Austin Ekeler: Once again proving his effectiveness as a duel threat running back Austin has amassed 1285 yards on 178 carries for a 7.2 yards per carry mark. He totes 19 touchdowns on the ground to go with 31 catches for 342 yards.
Josh Allen: Josh has come on fire recently and has thrown for 3806 yards on 344 attempts with 249 completions for a 72% completion mark. He has thrown for 29 touchdowns.
Tarik Cohen: Tarik is rounding off our top 5 list for now with 172 rush attempts for 1323 yards which is a 7.7 yard per carry mark. He has hit pay dirt on the ground 16 times and adds in 21 catches for 170 yards.
