As the colts offense has been mediocre this year, the teams will lean on their defense in this key AFC South divisional matchup. These two teams having just faced each other two weeks ago should have a good scouting report on each other. For the colts the game plan must begin and end with keeping Derrick Henry in check. He is a monster and there is no sugar coating that. In the loss to the Titans Henry frequently fell forward and got an extra 2-3 yards with each tackle. In practice all week the front 7 has been doing extra tackle drills to ensure that doesn’t happen again. When speaking to the defensive coordinator we learned the colts also have something planned for Jonnu Smith as he accounted for over half of the Titans passing yards last matchup. He is also coming off a career game against the Ravens hauling in over 200 yards and two touchdowns. The Colts have relied on veteran defensive back Xavier Rhodes all year to man up on tight ends in key spots and look for much of the same here. If the Colts can contain Henry and keep an eye on Smith they should be able to come out with the victory. If either of those players has big games look for this to have a similar outcome as last matchup .
