Buckner leads defense in return from injury

One of the key players on defense Deforest Buckner made his return from injury in grand fashion today. Buckner who led the team with 3 sacks through two games has been out of the lineup since week 3. In his first game back to action he had a big sack on third down to force a key punt. The motivational leader of the defense helped the colts manage 4 takeaways today. Even with missing time he leads the team now with 4 sacks. The Colts who started a dreadful 0-3 have managed to creep past .500 for the first time all year. Standing 4-3 they still have an upfield battle to make the playoffs but as one of the hotter teams in football they may just make a run at it. There was some controversy as the play caller was accused of going to the screen well to often today. Look for the offense to mix it up more next week in a key matchup vs the Ravens. When we spoke to the Oc after the game he cited game script just led to the shorter pass game today. He was quoted as saying “ We will be stretching the field next week to get our deep threat play makers more involved”. If the Colts can get the passing attack to show up more often they will be a more complete and dangerous football team.
