To play our starters or to not play the starters? That is the only question. For the Colts that answer was simple, as the starters only got a limited amount of snaps. For the Chargers, that was an entirely different story. The Chargers played most of their starters, with quarterback Winston playing the entire game. The Chargers had no fear of injury, playing like it was the regular season. The Colts played most of their backups, with rookie quarterback Eason getting the most snaps. His first preseason game didn’t go as planned as he went 16/28 for 232 yards, 1 touchdown and 3 interceptions. The Colts would go on to lose the game 37-22,however, the best part was the injury free ending.
